# We are located in Clayton and are very close to the Monash Freeway,Princes Hwy & Springvale Rd . It is always a good idea to call ahead when visiting our show room as on occasions the sales staff and technicians will be in the field, so make an appointment to drop in for a coffee or a chat, test drive your prospective forklift, lift a pallet and use our large concrete yard so you feel comfortable with the machine you intend to hire or buy before it arrives on site ! It's also a good opportunity to view other types of units and warehouse equipment.

DO IT YOURSELF
FORKLIFT SITE APPRAISAL..............
1. You will firstly need a 5m+ tape measure and pen & paper.....
2. Measure and record the height of the top cross beam in your racking, then measure your existing aisles or what you would like to have as an aisle width.
3. Determine the average weight of your pallets and the heaviest, also the type of pallets you will use.
4. Are there any low doors to go under, roller door height, gutters, drains, bumps or gravel etc that the forklift may need to go over.
5. Do you have a 3 phase outlet, do the operators have a licence, will you need to go onto a public road,approx. how many hours a day will it work, what is your budget and finally do you prefer LPG or Electric.....once you have done all this you will have a fairly good idea of what sort of unit you may need, and always consider the future as you may outgrow your forklift in 6-12 months, rent is a good option in this instance as it allows you the freedom to update or c/o !
